In many parts of the world, the price of transportation is not fixed. Travelers are often taken advantage of because they do not know the proper fares that should be charged to travel from Point A to Point B.
While we do not begrudge the locals a living, we feel that there should be greater transparency in that fares are reasonable for both tourists and locals alike. After all, most tourists also have financial constraints, and should not be looked upon as walking moneybags.
We are looking for other travelers to make a contribution of their travel knowledge to our site. It doesn't matter if information on a particular route has already been posted. If you have traveled it, we want it!

1) Fares may vary according to seasonality. So use these fares as a guide, not a standard.
2) In getting better fares, you will have to bargain. But never, ever be rude to the locals. As you travel, you are an ambassador representing your own country!
3) Learn a few phrases in the local language related to bargaining.
